To make the Gardena Jazz Festival successful at only $20 per person, the City of Gardena utilizes a number of volunteers during the show. Volunteers provide an invaluable part in our Festival that includes the following assignments:
Gates and entrance
VIP table service
First Aid Tent
Photography and Videography
Volunteers are required to commit at least 4 hours of service before receiving entrance privileges to the Festival. Longer shifts are available and will include lunch, drinks and breaks.
Parking on-site is not provided, however volunteers may park in any legal parking spot on the street or at the Nakaoka Community Center, where a shuttle will be provided or volunteers can pay for parking in the paid parking area.
Volunteer duties are limited and all volunteers must submit an application for approval prior to the festival. Please contact the Parks & Recreation Department at (310) 217-9537 for further information.
