Gardena Jazz Festival Rules and Regulations

Tickets General Admission – General Admission tickets are available for open, lawn seating. Blankets and low back lawn chairs are allowed.  No high back or umbrella chairs.

VIP Seating – VIP/Sponsor seating provides front of stage seating, specially prepared meals served with your choice of water or soda.

Tent Seating – Tent seating against the west fence of the viewing bowl is limited and can be purchased at the Nakaoka Community Center. Each tent comes with 4 General Admission tickets. Additional general admission tickets can also be purchased.  North Tent seating can also be purchased at the Nakaoka, no tickets issued with this tent area, but general admission tickets can be purchased.

Tickets at the gate – If the Jazz Festival is not sold out, general admission tickets can be purchased at the gate. For ticket pricing and availability on day of event call (310) 217-9537.

Alcohol NO alcohol is allowed.

ATM – An ATM is available on site near the food court.

Accommodations – Hotel partners coming soon!  Please check back.

FoodPLEASE, NO ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGES! Security will check all coolers and confiscate any alcoholic beverages and open containers. Only SEALED non-alcoholic beverages are allowed (water, soft drinks, juice). All food items are OK.

BBQ pits – NO BBQ PITS OR OPEN FIRE WILL BE ALLOWED

Parking – A limited number of parking spaces are available on site for a fee.  In addition, a limited amount of street parking is also available.  Please keep in mind that all parking laws will be enforced.

Smoking – THERE WILL BE A DESIGNATED SMOKING AREA.

Sponsors – The City of Gardena partners with a number of sponsors and organizations who want to be part of the annual Gardena Jazz Festival which is has become one of the most exciting and dynamic music events in the South Bay.

Handicapped Area – An area has been reserved just outside of the VIP/Sponsor area for those who are in wheelchairs and/or those who find it physically difficult to see, hear and/or maneuver through the venue.

Souvenirs – Jazz Festival merchandise is available at the Festival’s souvenir booth including t-shirts, hats, and other jazz festival items.

Gates Open – Gates open  10:00 am – All attendees must have a wrist band.

Volunteers – Each year, approximately 150 volunteers team up to help make the Gardena Jazz Festival a great musical experience for the more than 7,000 fans.  Gardena Jazz Festival volunteers assist with everything from concert production — setup to take down — to transportation, hospitality, merchandise sales, ushering at events, and numerous other tasks.

Re-entry – To re-enter the venue you must have your wrist band on and your ticket in hand.

Autographs/CD purchases – Each artist will sell their CD’s at the Autograph tent. Each artist will sign and meet the fans in the Autograph Tent after each performance. Headline Artist will autograph prior to their performance on stage. Photos with artist are OK.
