Handyworker Fix-Up Program
The Handyworker Fix-Up Program is designed to cover expenses for minimal household repairs. It is available for low-moderate income homes and mobile homeowners. Applicants must meet the same qualifications as those listed under the Residential Rebate Program. Eligible repairs include installation of smoke detectors, dead bolt bars, handicap ramps, minor plumbing repairs, broken window panes, re-screen window screens and other small miscellaneous jobs. The City Handyworker crew performs the repairs at no cost to the resident(s) with a maximum of $600 allowable for materials.
